FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi could score his 400th career goal for the Catalan giants, if he scores a hat-trick against Real Madrid in El Clasico.

The Argentine currently sits on 397 goals for Barcelona, just three goals short of his next big milestone.
Messi has already scored 32 goals in La Liga this season, leading the Spanish goal-scoring charts ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, and he could now hurt the Portuguese even more.
Ronaldo had an advantage of 13 goals following a great start to the campaign, but has been struggling with form since the turn of the year.
While Messi has already scored 20 goals in all competitions in 2015, Ronaldo only hit the back of the net nine times during the same period.
In La Liga, Messi has overtaken Ronaldo in the goal-scoring rankings and is now two ahead of the Portuguese.
A hat-trick against Real Madrid sounds unrealistic, but if one player could pull it off, surely it must be Messi. He has already scored six hat-tricks in all competitions this season, three of which were in 2015.
Back in March 2007, Messi also managed to score a hat-trick in the El Clasico, netting three times for Barcelona in a 3-3 draw and becoming the youngest player ever to have scored in this fixture. He also scored a hat trick in last season's 4-3 win at the Bernabeu.
