FC Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi, could break the La Liga all-time goal record in the upcoming El Clasico against Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old has scored his 250th goal for Barcelona in the 3-0 win against Eibar on Saturday and is now only one goal short of Telmo Zarra's record of 251 goals.
This means Messi could enter the history book at Bernabeu, the home ground of Barcelona's bitter rivals, if he scores one goal or more.
Barcelona are still unbeaten, winning seven out of their eight games and drawing the other one, with an impressive goal-difference of 22-0.
Messi has scored seven goals and assisted further nine this season already, which means he has been involved in more than 70 percent of his clubs league goals.
Neymar has also had a great start into the season, scoring his eighth La Liga against Eibar.
It was Neymar's 24th goal for the Catalan giants, which stands alongside 40 for Brazil and 136 for Santos, meaning he has now scored 200 senior career goals.
But Barcelona even have another record-breaker in the side. Goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, is yet to concede a La Liga goal this season.
His unbeaten streak now stretches to 720 minutes and the Chilean overtook the club record set by Victor Valdes of 686 minutes without being beaten.
However, the record is likely to fall when Barcelona travel to Bernabeu to face La Liga's best attack on Saturday.
