Brazil defeated Peru 3-1 in the final, claiming their ninth Copa America trophy in history.
Strikes by Everton, Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison ensured the triumph in front of an excited home crowd, while Paolo Guerrero netted the only goal the Selecao conceded all tournament.

Tite's team, who were without their injured superstar Neymar after he suffered an injury ahead of the tournament, won four games, while drawing two over the course of the competition.
As a consequence, Alisson Becker won the Copa America Golden Glove. In fact, Brazil won all individual awards of this year's tournament, with Everton lifting the Golden Shoe after scoring three goals and assisting another strike.
The Gremio forward was also named Man of the Match in the final following a display which saw him score the 1-0 and win the penalty ahead of their 3-1.

However, it was his teammate Dani Alves, who was named Player of the Tournament. The free agent captained Brazil to the Copa America triumph at home, scoring once in a 5-0 win in the group stage over Peru.
