One of the biggest names on the list is Zinedine Zidane, who guided Real Madrid to the UEFA Champions League title just six months after taking over from Rafael Benitez.
The Frenchman will rival last year's World Coach of the Year winner Luis Enrique (FC Barcelona) and 2014 winner Joachim Low (Germany), who are both also nominated, according to the leaked list.
Other big names include Claudio Ranieri (Leicester City), Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid), Massimo Allegri (Juventus), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham Hotspur), Didier Deschamps (France) and Laurent Blanc (ex-Paris Saint-Germain).
No African coach appears on the leaked list, while two other high-profile coaches seem to have been omitted.
