There have been reports that new coach Mokwena has been given assurances from management about settling their debts in order to lift their transfer ban.
According to Kooora, Wydad are interested in signing Esperance striker Oussama Bouguerra ahead of the new season.
Local media in Tunisia report the Red Castle have already made an offer for the Tunisia international, while he has also received an offer from an Egyptian club.
The report from Kooora adds that the 26-year-old striker is not in the plans for coach Miguel Cardoso for the upcoming campaign.
Bouguerra is now expected to decide on his future in the coming days before the team returns for preparations for the 2024/2025 campaign.
The Tunisian striker made 37 appearances across all competitions last season, while scoring just four goals in the process.
