The record Moroccan champions are looking to return to the summit of domestic football after their worst league finish in a decade last season.
In an effort to ascend back to the top of the table, the north African giants appointed highly regarded South African tactician Rulani Mokwena as their manager and handed him a three-year contract.
Along with appointing the 37-year-old, Wydad also signed a plethora of players to their ranks.
Among them are Mokwena's former players at Mamelodi Sundowns Mailula and Boutouil, but they also acquired the services of former AC Milan star M'Baye Niang, Pedrinho from Corinthians and Nassim Chadli from Ligue 1 outfit Le Havre.
They are just a few of the 19 players the Red Castle welcomed to Casablanca in this transfer window, and the club is now poised present their new stars to their supporters in a ceremony this Saturday at the Arab Zaouli Stadium, as they announced via their social media channels.

The ceremony is set to take place before their second league match of the season, in which they will take on Moghreb Tetouan. Wydad supporters will be hoping their new acquisitions help the club fare better than they did in their opening 2024/25 game, when they lost 1-0 to MAS Fes.
