Luis Miquissone was deemed surplus to requirement at the African champions and has since parted ways.

The Mozambique winger has now returned to his former club Simba SC for the new campaign.

Miquissone spent last season on loan at Saudi Pro League side Abha Club, where he barely featured before returning to Cairo last month.

The 27-year-old only made 28 appearances for the Egyptian Red Devils and won the Egypt Cup while also picking up a bronze medal at the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup.
