Feisal Salum, a player heavily linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, has reportedly turned down a new contract offer at his current club, Azam FC, raising suggestions that he could join a new team at the end of the season.
The Tanzanian star has been linked with a move to South Africa for quite a while now, as both Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns reportedly made an approach for the player.

In July 2024, it was reported that Sundowns attempted to recruit the 27-year-old but saw their bid rejected, as it fell short of Azam's R36 million price tag for the player.
With Chiefs also reportedly knocking on the door for Salum, Azam are said to have offered the attacker a new long-term contract.
According to Africafoot.com, Salum was offered a three-year contract extension last week, but the midfielder declined the offer.
His contract is due to expire at the end of the 2024/25 Tanzanian Premier League season, and a source close to the player reportedly told Africafoot.com that it may be too early to say Salum is gearing up for a move to Naturena.
"Feisal Salum has made his decision and informed the club that he will not extend his contract," the source said.
"He is enjoying his experience at Azam, a big club, but he wants to explore new opportunities at the end of the season.
"A move to Kaizer Chiefs? It is still too early to say for sure, but it is a very serious possibility."
Salum joined Azam from Young Africans SC in July 2023 for a fee of €69,000 (R1.3 million), and he is now valued at €150,000 (R2.8 million), according to Transfermarkt.
