Two-time Africa Cup of Nations winner Herve Renard has explained why he rejected the chance to coach Nigeria.
Renard has been linked with the Super Eagles job since Finidi George resigned from the head caoch role in June.

The AFCON winner is currently a free agent after leaving his post as head coach of the France women's national side.
The French-born tactician has now revealed that he was close to taking over the Super Eagles.
"I almost went to Nigeria, he told L'Equipe.
"I weighed the pros and cons for several days, even weeks, before deciding against it.
"It was the best proposal I've received so far, but the others didn't suit me." he added.
The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed this month that Augustine Eguavoen will remain in charge of the Super Eagles during the upcoming international break.
