The former Barcelona forward has become somewhat of a divisive figure since being named president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
In recent months, the three-time UEFA Champions League winner is alleged to have been involved in multiple misconducts in his role, with The Athletic reporting in January that the organisation's former vice-president, Henry Njalla Quan Junior, took the issue to FIFA.

In an interview with France24 this week, the 42-year-old said he has ordered his legal team to make an official complaint against African football's governing body.
"I was never questioned about what I was accused of. I therefore instructed my lawyers to file a complaint against the CAF and to establish responsibilities," he said.
