According to Moroccan outlet El Botola, Abdelmounaim Boutouil is set to join Wydad after his departure from Downs was confirmed on Monday.
The 26-year-old centre-back spent two seasons at Masandawana following his arrival from SCC Mohammedia.
According to popular football data website Transfermarkt, the defender has already penned a deal with Wydad until 2027.
However, it appears the Red Castle are yet to formally announce Boutouil's arrival on their social media platforms.
It is reported that Mokwena "urged" his new side to sign the Moroccan, who has been capped on six occasions for his country.
Boutouil has previously represented clubs such as FAR Rabat and Raja Club Athletic in Morocco.
