Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller has been linked with a surprise move to England.
Koller has enjoyed great success in Egypt since taking the head coach role in September 2022 after the departure of Ricardo Soares who only lasted two months.

KingFut have now reported that Championship side Queens Park Rangers have shortlisted Koller as a potential replacement If Marti Cifuentes leaves the club.
Cifuentes has only registered one in their opening 15 league matches this campaign, with the club sitting bottom of the Championship standings.
The report from KingFut claims that the Al Ahly coach is on the short-list for the QPR job following his impressive run over the past years.
However, it is believed that Koller has made it clear to the Al Ahly board that he will respect his current contract, which expires at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Various reports in Europe claim that former Rangers tactician Gregory Vignal is also on the shortlist for the Loftus Road outfit.
