According to Le Site Info Sport, the Moroccan executive is anticipating a response from the head of African football's governing body regarding Raja's potential inclusion in the next AFL tournament.
The competition is the most lucrative showpiece on the continent, and with it expected to expand from eight teams to 24 sides, many, including the Green Eagles, will be looking to form part of the new-look edition.
Raja are believed to be struggling financially since the closure of the Stade Mohammed IV for repairs, so the prize money involved in the AFL could go a long way in helping alleviate pressure the club is currently under,
The north African giants are also believed to still owe South African star Haashim Domingo several months' wages as well as a signing bonus.
Motsepe is in the Moroccan capital of Rabat for the opening of the CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday, and he and Boudrika are expected to further engage on the AFL matter while he is in the north African nation.
