Masandawana has played three consecutive encounters without the services of the Zimbabwean, two of those being vital CAF Champions League encounters.
The Zimbabwean national team will host Liberia in their upcoming Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier on Sunday, June 11 and ZIFA has revealed to Soccer Laduma that the Association has been informed that Billiat will be reporting to the national team camp today, June 07, where he will be assessed by the medical team.
"He (Billiat) has not reported for camp yet, but we have been informed by our South African colleagues that he will come today. Definitely, our medical team will assess him to check if he is fit for the AFCON qualifier match against Liberia," ZIFA's communications manager, Xolisani Gwesela said.
Now, it remains to be seen whether the player will be fit enough to represent his country or if he will return to the Chloorkop-based club and continue treatment.
