The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named its 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Team of the Tournament, which includes two Bafana Bafana stars.

Following Ivory Coast's 2-1 win over Nigeria in the AFCON final on Sunday, CAF has picked a best XI of the showpiece.
South Africa are represented by Mamelodi Sundowns duo Ronwen Williams and Teboho Mokoena, both of whom shone brightly as Hugo Broos' men made it all the way to the semi-final stage and later claimed the bronze medal.
While Mokoena scored twice for Bafana, his captain Williams made history as he became the first goalkeeper to save four penalties in a shootout in a major international tournament.
Losing finalists Nigeria boast three player selections in the form of Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong and Ademola Lookman, all of whom impressed in the Ivory Coast.
Three stars from the Elephants, meanwhile, were chosen by CAF, with fullback Ghislan Konan and midfielders Franck Kessie and Jean Michael Seri recognised for their efforts.
It was Kessie's equalising goal in the final that ultimately got the host nation back into the match this past weekend before Sebastien Haller, who has been overlooked for the Team of the Tournament, struck the winner late on.
Unsurprisingly, the best XI is spearheaded by Equatorial Guinea's Emilio Nsue, who claimed the Golden Boot award after scoring five goals in the competition despite being a right-back by trade.
