Egypt moved to the summit of Group J on Friday evening following a 3-2 win over Tunisia.
Naim Sliti put the visitors ahead after 14 minutes before Trezeguet and Baher El Mohamady hit back to put Egypt 2-1 up. Sliti completed his brace in the 72nd minute to level matters but Mohamed Salah struck the winning goal for Egypt late on. South Sudan 2-5 Burundi
Burundi boosted their hopes of qualifying for the Afcon after they thumped South Sudan 5-2 on Friday afternoon. Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Fiston Abdul Razak stole the show by bagging four goals for the visitors while Cedric Amissi got the other goal for Burundi. The win moves Burundi top of Group C temporarily, as Gabon host Mali on Saturday, Morocco 2-0 Cameroon Morocco edged closer to securing a spot at next year's Afcon after defeating Cameroon 2-0 on Friday night. Ajax Amsterdam star Hakim Ziyech was the star for the hosts, as he netted a second-half brace to secure the win. The Indomitable Lions finished the game with ten men after Karl Ekambi was sent off in the 79th minute.
