Congo DR advance to the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations, after securing a 3-1 win over Togo at the Stade de Port-Gentil.
Togo went close to breaking the deadlock in the opening stages, with Emmanuel Adebayor heading wide from close range.
Tom Saintfiet's charges were dealt a blow after 24 minutes as Cedric Mensah replaced Baba Tchagouni, who picked up an injury.
It was the DRC who broke the deadlock after 29 minutes as Junior Kabananga grabbed his third goal of the tournament with a close range finish.
Congo nearly doubled their lead on the stroke of halftime through Kabananga, who sent a looping crashing onto the upright.
The lead was doubled in the 53rd minute as Ndombe did well to beat the offside trap, before calmly lifting the ball over Mensah.
Togo pulled a goal back in the 69th minute as Boukari teed the ball for Ndombe Mubele, who calmly slotted into the bottom corner.
Congo eventually sealed the win in the 80th minute Paul Mpoku curled home a free-kick from the edge of the area, 3-1.
