Morocco proved too strong for Emmanuel Adebayo's Togo, as they ran out 3-1 winners in their second AFCON Group C encounter.
Both nations were looking for their first win of the tournament after Morocco lost to Congo DR, while Togo drew 0-0 with Ivory Coast.
Togo broke the deadlock after just five minutes, as Mathieu Dossevi clinically slotted into the far corner, following a swift counter attack.
Morocco then leveled matters in the 14th minute as Alaixys Romao's floated cross was headed home by Aziz Bouhaddouz.
Hervé Renard's charges then took the lead six minutes later as Romain Saiss glanced home a header for his first strike of the campaign.
There was a good tempo to the opening stanza, with both nations showing attacking intent , although the score remained 2-1 at the break.
Both sides had chances to 10 minutes after the break, as El Kaddouri saw his strike deflect just wide, while Emmanuel Adebayor headed over from close range.
Morocco extended their lead in the 72nd minute through Youssef El-Nsyri's long range strike, although Agassa should done better with the effort.
The Atlas Lions managed to see out closing stages with relative ease to claim their first of the group stages to move in second spot, while Togo have dropped to the bottom of the standings.
