Burkina Faso progressed to the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals after they defeated Tunisia 2-0 at the Stade d'Angondje.
Tunisia squandered a glorious chance to break the deadlock after 16 minute, as Taha Yassine Khenissi headed over the cross bar from close range.
Burkina Faso went close in the 21st minute throough Bertrand Traore, who saw his lobbed effort crash against the crossbar.
The Tunisians looked more threatening as the opening half went on, with Ben Amor and Yacoubi going close after 30 minutes.
There was a good tempo to the encounter, although neither side could break the deadlock as the score remained goalless at the break.
Traore proved to be real threat for Burkina Faso in the opening exchanges of the second half with his surging runs down the flanks.
Tunisia opted for the first change after 60 minutes, as Hamza Lahmar repalced Sunderland midfielder, Wahbi Khazri.
After a quiet spell in the second half, Burkina Faso broke the deadlock in the 80th minute as substitute Aristide Bance curled home a free-kick.
The Stallions sealed the win four minutes later as Prejuce Nakoulma did well to round Mathlouthi, before slotting into an empty net.
