I must say its become quite unpleasant to watch these finals .No! Not because Bafana is not there. Not because all the coaches in Russia (even for African teams) seem to be white and Arab with the exception of the Senegalese coach.Not because African teams are underperforming,but because the commentators do not miss any opportunity to remind the world that SA is the ONLY nation to be kicked out in the group stages as hosts in the history of the world cup.We are in Russia by virtue of setting that embarrassing record.I hoped that Russia would join us but it won't happen.It looks like Bafana will be attending the next world cup even if they do not qualify,because the commentators will say, "South Africa is still the ONLY nation to exit at the group stages as a host nation"
