Masandawana will be looking to continue their journey in the continental showpiece when they face off against the Tunisian giants in the quarter-finals of Africa's most prestigious club competition.
The two sides faced off in last season's Champions League, but in the semi-final stage. It was the Blood and Gold who triumphed on that occasion, as Miguel Cardoso led the North African outfit to the final against Al Ahly.
Now, the Portuguese tactician is in charge of Ka Bo Yellow, and he will be facing his former side as he looks to guide Sundowns to the last four.
The first leg of the quarter-final clash will take place next Tuesday, 1 April 2025, and according to Tunisien Numerique, the record Ligue Professionnelle 1 champions will begin travelling on Saturday.
The same report claims that the team will arrive on Sunday, 30 March, when they will begin their preparations for the match against the South African champions.
The match will be played at Loftus Versfeld, the stadium where Espérance secured last season's semi-final victory with a 1-0 win.
