If things don't improve for Kaizer Chiefs and Nasreddine Nabi, the club is in danger of matching their worst season in the PSL era.
Last season, under the guidance of interim coach Cavin Johnson, the Soweto giants finished in 10th place on 36 points.

They lost 12 matches last term and are just three defeats away from that this season, which should be a big concern for management after investing so much into the technical team and playing squad.
In 12 Betway Premiership matches in 2025, Amakhosi have registered just four victories and have lost six times. They have dropped 22 points in 2025, showing just how they have been struggling.
Last season Amakhosi conceded 30 goals and they are in danger of letting in more this season. At the moment, they have conceded 26 goals and, with eight matches to go, there is a chance that they will let in more than 30 this term.
Nabi has mentioned time and again that he is building Chiefs, but he would not want to see Amakhosi having another horrible campaign. While he is building the club, expectations are that the team should still finish in a respectable position, with promising displays which would give management reason to look forward to next season.

This will no doubt be a concern because they invested a lot into their defence, bringing in Inacio Miguel, Rushwin Dortley, Bradley Cross, as well as goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, who lost his place in the team as number one.
The problem, however, is that the team has not performed much better than they did last season and there might be questions on whether Nabi is doing enough to take the Soweto giants to new levels. As things stand, there is little to no improvement from the side.
