Tensions Rise As Stellies Graphic Sparks Pirates Fans’ Angry Reactions

Stellenbosch FC's media team have seemingly stirred the pot with Orlando Pirates supporters ahead of their clash on Tuesday night.

The story

Stellenbosch will be looking to move past their elimination from the Nedbank Cup as they face Orlando Pirates in the Betway Premiership at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Currently in third place in the league, Steve Barker's team aims to reduce the gap between themselves and second-placed Orlando Pirates to five points with a win.

In the previous encounter in early December, Devin Titus' tidy first-half goal secured a 1-0 victory for Stellies, handing Pirates their first league defeat of the season.

In Stellies' pre-match graphic, the club used an image of Titus beating Chaine as the backdrop, something the Happy People did not take kindly to.
