Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson set a new Premier League record after picking an assist during the 4-0 win over Newcastle United.
The Cityzens climbed up to fourth spot on the Premier League table with a emphatic victory over the Magpies at the Etihad Stadium.
Ederson played his part in the win by grabbing an assist for Omar Marmoush's opening goal with a long-ball from his just outside his own box.

In doing so, Ederson bagged his sixth assist in the league and is now the goalkeeper with the most assists in competition history.
"I'm happy to make this mark. I hope there is more to come," said Ederson in an interview after the game, as per the club's official website.
"It's a difficult team to play against because they mark man to man. I see the space, because they go man for man, the player free is the goalkeeper.
"Up front they're man for man and we have good fast players, Savinho, Marmoush and Erling, so it's easy, I just put the ball there.
