Three players in the Sundowns side, who have a good chance of playing, are on three yellow cards each and would miss the clash against the Buccaneers on Saturday if they were to get into the referee's book.
Grant Kekana and Aubrey Modiba, the two Bafana Bafana regulars, are at risk of suspension, as well as midfielder Sphelele Mkhulise. All of these players were in the starting line-up against Golden Arrows over the past weekend and head coach Miguel Cardoso now has to decide if he should include them in the team or save them for the Pirates matches.
The luxury Cardoso has is that he has depth in the squad. New defender Keanu Cupido and Lucas Suarez are options in central defence should Kekana be rested, while Divine Lunga, Asekho Tiwani and Terrence Mashego are available to come in for Modiba.
In midfield, Sundowns have the likes of Jayden Adams and Neo Maema as options. Bathusi Aubass is still not available after picking up a red card in the Nedbank Cup last 32 round against Sibanye Golden Stars.

SuperSport, meanwhile, will be without midfielder Lebohang Maboe, who joined on loan from Sundowns. The loan agreement signed between SuperSport and Sundowns restricts Maboe from playing against his parent club.
