Monnapule Saleng could be close to making a comeback for Orlando Pirates, the Siya crew has been made to believe.
Saleng has been a notable absentee from Pirates' matchday squads in recent matches although close sources have been confident that the skilful winger would come back.

Saleng was last in action in an official match for the Buccaneers in December during their first leg CAF Champions League match against Al Ahly in Orlando.
Despite his absence, the 26-year-old Bloemhof-born attacker remains one of the key players for Bucs, with his possible return to coach Jose Riveiro's matchday squads now bandied about.
"He is a Pirates player and like any player who is fit and ready he will always be available for selection. He will be back with the team soon to continue from where he left off with his contribution," said the source.

Although Saleng's possible return might not necessarily be in the Soweto derby this weekend according to sources, indications are that there is progress in his situation for him to get back into the team and compete for a place in the starting line-ups again.
