The South African striker made it three goals in his last five league outings when he found the back of the net during CRB's latest league encounter against Paradou AC.
The Umtata native ghosted into the near post in the 85th minute of the match to put the game beyond doubt, helping his side leapfrog their opponents in the league standings and move up to third in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.
While Mayo has been able to continue his good run of form, the 2-0 victory came off the back of a tumultuous week for the Red and Whites.
Early last week, it was alleged that their head coach, Abdelkader Amrani, had gone on absence without leave, missing most of the training sessions leading up to the match and failing to communicate with the club.
After their latest league win, however, the club released a statement confirming that they would be parting ways with the Algerian tactician.
According to El Massa, Amrani is on the verge of joining yet another Algerian top-flight outfit in MC Oran, replacing Eric Chelle, who recently took up the Nigerian national team head coaching position.
