Switzerland striker Ruben del Campo, who was previously linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, has officially joined a new club.
Campo was said to be in advanced negotiations with Amakhosi until a deal broke down.
Siya sources indicated that the club's hierarchy had passed on the opportunity to bring the 24-year-old in despite his impressive numbers abroad.
UCAM Murcia CF, who ply their trade in Spain's fourth division, has announced Ruben del Campo as a signing.
"Universidad Católica de Murcia Club de Fútbol has reached an agreement with Rubén del Campo Ferreiras (Fribourg, 2000) to join the university team until the summer of 2026." the club's statement read, as translated from Spanish to English.
