Barely halfway into the season, rookies Magesi FC look set to part ways with a player they had high hopes for.
The Siya crew has been led to believe that the Limpopo outfit are on the verge of letting go of former Kaizer Chiefs winger Kgaogelo Sekgota, whose career has not been progressing well over the last few years.

Sekgota signed a one-year deal with the rookies, with an option to extend, before the start of the new campaign after his contract was terminated by his previous club, Stellenbosch FC. It's understood his departure from Stellies was due to issues of ill-discipline.
A chance to resurrect his career was presented by Magesi, but it seems that he will be a free agent again.
It's unclear to the Siya crew at this stage why Magesi are prepared to let the player go, but the club is expected to make an announcement of his departure this week.
The 27-year-old, who has also been on the books of Bidvest Wits, has made nine appearances in all competitions for the Carling Knockout champions, but has rarely been a starter.

In these matches, Sekgota has been in the starting line-up just four times, struggling to get in the team ahead of Edmore Chirambadare on the left wing.
Securing his clearance before transfer deadline day means Sekgota will be able to sign for any club outside of the window period.
The Siya crew understands that there are more players who are set to leave Magesi before the close of the transfer window.
