With Orlando Pirates having identified a striker for coach Jose Riveiro's squad, there could be difficulties in getting him in for the CAF Champions League quarter-finalists, the Siya crew has been informed.
As reported by the Siya crew, Pirates have identified Yanela Mbuthuma from Richards Bay FC as a transfer target following his impressive performances despite the KwaZulu-Natal team's struggles in their Betway Premiership campaign due to disappointing results.

Mbuthuma was on the scoresheet for the Natal Rich Boyz on Friday although the team ended up on the losing side against Cape Town City at Athlone Stadium after the hosts scored two goals.
Mbuthuma's first half goal in the Mother City was his third of the campaign and he also has an assist.

While the Buccaneers are still interested in the 22-year-old forward's services, having been impressed with his work-rate, it is believed that Richards Bay are not keen on losing him at this crucial stage of their campaign.
"Pirates are very interested in Yanela Mbuthuma of Richards Bay as he has continued to impress with his high work-rate. He is a player that Pirates would like to add to their squad that is already doing well for the team to continue achieving. But it will be difficult to get the player now in January as Richards Bay are having plans of their own about him. He is in the plans for the club in the fight against relegation. The club is unlikely to entertain any offers for the boy at this stage," said the source.
