Liverpool dropped points for the second Premier League game in a row after a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
Forest opened the scoring as early as the eighth minute after Chris Wood bagged his 13th league goal of the campaign with a lovely first-time finish in the box.
After a disappointing first half, Arne Slot's charges back on level terms in the 65th minute as Diogo Jota nodded home a corner a minute after replacing Ibrahima Konate.
Forest have moved up to second spot on the table, while Arsenal can close the gap on Liverpool to four points if they beat Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
Brentford 2-2 Manchester City
Manchester City suffered a late collapse in the second half after drawing 2-2 with Brentford.
After a scoreless first half, the Citizens broke the deadlock in th4 65th minute when Kevin de Bruyne's superb pass picked out the run of Phil Foden, who side-footed the ball into the top corner.
The lead was doubled in the 77th minute when Foden completed his brace with another close-range finish after Savinho saw his initial effort saved.
The Cityzens were not home and dry as Yoane Wissa reduced the deficit for the Bees in the 82nd minute, becoming the club's all-time leading scorer the process with 37 goals.
The Bees went on to grab the equaliser in the 92nd minute when Christian Norgaard nodded home a cross from Lewis Potter.
Chelsea 2-2 Bournemouth
Chelsea struck late in the second half to earn themselves a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth.
The Blues got in front in the 13th minute as Cole Palmer latched onto a through ball from Nicolas Jackson to slot home his 14th league goal of the season.
Justin Kluivert brought the visitors back on level terms five minutes after the break via the penalty spot.
Antoine Semenyo looked to have won the game for Bournemouth with his strike in the 68th minute, but Blues captain Reece James bagged the equaliser with a lovely free-kick.
West Ham United 3-2 Fulham
West Ham United bounced back to winning ways after edging Fulham in a five-goal thriller.
The Hammers came into the clash winless in their last two league encounters, while they were also dumped out of the FA Cup by Aston Villa over the weekend.
The home side opened two-goal lead after 30 minutes as Carlos Soler opened the scoring before Tomas Soucek doubled the lead.
Iwobi pulled one back for Fulham six minutes after the break, but Lucas Paqueta restored West Ham's two goal advantage in the 67th minute.
Fulham did pull another back through Iwobi once again, but the Hammers were able to hold out for the win.
