On Sunday afternoon, the Moroccan giants will renew their continental rivalry with the South African side.
The match will have little bearing on the Royal Army's fortunes in the competition, as they have already secured qualification for the tournament's quarterfinal stages. However, the encounter will be crucial for their momentum.
Ka Bo Yellow need to avoid defeat to the North African outfit to secure a spot in the knockout stages without relying on other results to go their way.
While the match is essentially a dead rubber for last season's Botola Pro Inwi runners-up, FAR defensive midfielder Larbi Naji insists they will approach the game with every intention of winning in order to finish as group leaders.
"After achieving the most important thing, which is qualification, the next challenge is to return with a result that supports our lead from South Africa," the 34-year-old told Kooora.
Sundowns will be vying for the final Group A qualification spot against another Moroccan side, Raja Club Athletic. A loss to Miguel Cardoso's charges could significantly boost the Green Eagles' ambitions of quarterfinal qualification. Naji, however, emphasised that FAR's focus will remain solely on their own objectives.

He added: "Raja has chances and hope that it will fight for, and we will face Sundowns to stay in the lead, because that serves our interests for the rest of the journey."
