A decision has been made on a defender at a PSL club, while Sifiso Hlanti appears to be edging closer to a return to topflight football.
As reported by the Siya crew in December, Hlanti has been training at TS Galaxy as he looks to resurrect his career after leaving Kaizer Chiefs.
The 34-year-old left-back has been unattached since parting ways with Chiefs at the end of the 2023/24 season.

News reaching the Siya crew is that the experienced defender has impressed with his work-rate with a possibility to be signed under Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic.
"Sifiso Hlanti has been impressive and there is a possibility that he will be signed. He has done well, and he is a player that can add value at TS Galaxy with his experience," said the source.
Meanwhile, former AmaZulu defender Veluyeke Zulu who has also been training with Galaxy has been signed, as confirmed by well-placed sources at the club.
"Veluyeke Zulu will appear in the colours of TS Galaxy in the second round of the season. He did well during his trial with the team and a decision has been made on him," said the source.

According to another source, young defender Nkosikhona Radebe is likely to be released by the Mpumalanga outfit.
"Initially, the plan was to send Nkosikhona Radebe on loan, but it now looks like he could be allowed to join a club of his choice on a permanent basis," the source said.
