Following the departure of Clinton Larsen, Magesi FC have turned their attention to an experienced coach to lead them out of trouble.
Larsen parted ways with the club after the Carling Cup clash a couple of weeks ago, despite leading the club to knockout success and winning promotion with them a few months before that.

But their maiden Betway Premiership campaign has been a tough mountain to climb and reality has hit them hard. Magesi are currently bottom of the standings on six points and their hopes will now be pinned on the experienced Owen da Gama, who was recently working in the ABC Motsepe League.
Da Gama last worked for Sekhukhune United in the top flight and has been away for a few seasons, but his experience could play a key role as they look to avoid going back down to the second tier after just one campaign in the Premiership.
Initially, it appeared as though Magesi would put their trust in Papi Zothwane and Jacky Ledwaba, who were assistants to Larsen, but the club has decided to bring in an experienced coach who is no stranger to fighting relegation battles.
Da Gama, who is a former Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic coach, is expected to be on the bench as head coach when the rookies take on the coach's former club TS Galaxy on Saturday.
