Free agent Paul Pogba has been linked with a shock move to one of Manchester United's biggest rivals ahead of the January transfer window.
The French midfielder had his four-year doping ban reduced to 18-months, meaning he will be eligible to return to action in February next year.
After being released by Juventus last month, the World Cup winner has been linked with moves Ligue 1 and Major League Soccer, but it seems he still aims to play at a high level in Europe and he might just get that chance.

According to the Independent, Manchester City are considering a move for the Frenchman to help bolster their midfield options.
Pep Guardiola is already without the services of Rodri for the remainder of the season while Mateo Kovavic remains sidelined for the next few weeks.
However, the report adds that there is a stumbling block for City as Pogba is reluctant on returning to Manchester due his previous ties with cross-town rivals United.
Guardiola, meanwhile, is not too big on bringing in new players in the upcoming transfer window.
"No. What I want is my players back - the players that we have," the City coach said, as per Premier League.
"I want the squad that we had at the beginning of the season that were desperately competing.
"This is the only regret I have, that I don't have these players - not new ones.
"In the right moment, we will see. The transfer market has shown how expensive players are in the past four or five years. I'm sorry, we're not the best in those terms."
