In October, various outlets in Sweden claimed the 25-year-old was being "investigated for rape" following a trip to Stockholm.
The former Paris Saint-Germain forward was on a short holiday in the country during an international break, after France manager Didier Deschamps allowed him time to reset amid his difficult start to life in Spain.
At the time, Mbappe slammed the story as "fake news" in a post on social media, with little having been said on the alleged incident since.
The Los Blancos No. 9 has now directly addressed the rumour in an interview, insisting he "never felt concerned" and that he has not received a summons from the Swedish government.
"I was surprised. These are things that happen that you don't see coming. I didn't receive anything, no summons. I read the same thing as everyone else. The Swedish government didn't say anything. I'm not concerned," he said, according to French website Clique.
"It didn't weigh on me, because I never felt concerned. There's a lot of noise, but I've always had the same intention, which is to concentrate on my job and see how it ends. If justice summons me, I will simply go.
"It wasn't even a night out. I had five days off, I decided to leave. I was supposed to go somewhere else, but the coach told me to go somewhere less exposed. It's going well, I'm relaxed."
