While the Club of the Century are the most successful team on the African continent, they have never been able to claim a victory in South Africa against any of its clubs.
They have played on the southern tip of the continent on 14 occasions and have not managed to win a single game.
On Saturday, they will try to rectify this unwanted record once again when they face the Sea Robbers in the second matchday of their Champions League campaign.
Ahly assistant coach Samy Komsan has stated that winning against the South African giants will be extremely difficult, especially given that they will be starting the encounter at 15:00.
"Orlando is a strong team and is looking to take advantage of the match being played at home and in front of its fans to achieve a positive result, in addition to the fact that it will be played at 3pm in hot weather, all of which make the match more difficult," Komsan told Al Ahly's official website, as per Kooora.
"The technical staff watched several recordings of the Orlando team and learned about their style of play and the most prominent players in their ranks, in order to develop an appropriate plan to face them.
