A new coaching gig is loading for James Mothibi to continue developing players to achieve bigger things in their careers, including getting opportunities at big clubs like Orlando Pirates as he has done.
Having had a hand in helping the likes of Ethan Visagie and other youngsters from the Northern Cape to get opportunities at Pirates and other PSL clubs, Mothibi will be hoping for the same to continue in the Free State where he is expected to be involved in his next project.

As confirmed by close sources, the former Bucs player is set to be unveiled at D'General FC in the Free State's third tier league.
Mothibi was spotted sitting alongside Ba2Cada (Nyakallo Leine, an award-winning radio presenter who co-owns the ambitious club with Cape Town City midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo) in one of their recent matches, and indications from sources are that an agreement has been reached for the ex-striker to become the club's new coach.

"James Mothibi is set to be unveiled as the new head coach for D'General FC. The club is busy working on finalising his technical team, otherwise an agreement for him to coach the club has been reached," a source told the Siya crew.
"He did well with Jacksa Spears FC by helping them to the national playoffs, and now he will be hoping to help D'General FC to promotion to the professional ranks. This is a guy who is also very good with young players and development, and with him on board the future is bright for kids in the Free State and the surrounding areas," the source said.
