The chairman of a Saudi Pro League side has revealed the club's current stance on acquiring the services of Percy Tau.

It seems that the Bafana Bafana winger is nearing the end of his time with Al Ahly.
The 30-year-old's contract with the Club of the Century expires after the ongoing campaign, and possible suitors are beginning to surface as a result.
During the offseason, one of the teams rumoured to be interested in the South African international was newly promoted Saudi outfit Al Kholood Club.
It was alleged that they were interested in three of Al Ahly's players, as Aliou Dieng, Kahraba and Tau were all said to be on their transfer wish list.
Ultimately, only the Malian made the switch to the oil-rich kingdom this past transfer window. However, links to Tau have resurfaced.
While the reigning CAF Interclubs Men's Player of the Year may be of interest to the Gulf club, their president Mohamed Al Khalifa has revealed that it will be up to their coach whether they sign him.

"There is no desire to buy the player, or any communication to include him, but we will still see the coach's desire for the positions that he will need to support, and on this basis we will move to include the deals, but there is no communication regarding Tau," he said, as per El Watan.
