There has been a change in the Bafana Bafana squad as the players are set to regroup under the watchful eye of coach Hugo Broos in preparation for the two upcoming matches in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and South Sudan.
Mihlali Mayambela has been withdrawn from the national team squad and replaced by Devin Titus, the South African Football Association has confirmed.

SAFA confirmed the change on their official website and provided other important information pertaining to the two fixtures.
"Mihlali Mayambela has been withdrawn (from) the Bafana Bafana squad after he picked up an injury while playing for his Cypriot club Aris Limassol at the weekend," confirmed SAFA.
"The South African senior men's national team face Uganda away from home on 15 November 2024 and South Sudan at DHL Stadium on 19 November in Cape Town in matches that could see coach Hugo Broos' charges qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be held in Morocco next year. Broos and team manager Vincent Tseka confirmed to www.safa.net that Mayambela – who made the final 23 list named a few days ago – will no longer join his teammates this week," the association stated.
Meanwhile Broos said, as quoted on SAFA's website, "Unfortunately, Mayambela will not join us in camp, and he will be replaced by Devin Titus from Stellenbosch FC."

As confirmed by SAFA, Titus is already on his way to Johannesburg to join the team in camp where he is expected to begin training later today with the rest of his Bafana teammates.
The team is scheduled to travel by charter on Thursday morning for the match against Uganda on Friday, and will be expected to return to Mzansi on Saturday.
