Orlando Pirates' development coaches have been commended for the rise of Mohau Nkota under Jose Riveiro this season.
Since being given a chance to play in the first team this season, having featured in four matches across all competitions, Nkota has grabbed the opportunity with both hands and has been rewarding the Spanish mentor with impressive performances.

Against AmaZulu FC on Friday as the Buccaneers moved to the top of the Betway Premiership standings, the 19-year-old scored both goals in the 2-1 victory at Orlando Stadium, with the ever-improving Relebohile Mofokeng assisting him on both occassions.
Former Pirates striker James Mothibi, who has been following the Kimberly-born player's career for years, has been impressed with the progress.
"On Friday, I went to watch the game for Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu and what an electrifying game it was, and I am so happy for Mohau Nkota and the progress he has made to be where he is. Mohau is a boy from Kimberly, and I always speak to him to offer advice. I have been in contact with him since he was very young and when he arrived at Pirates for the club's juniors. I am so happy that the boy is putting the Northern Cape on the map with the progress he is making with Pirates. What the boy is doing now will serve as motivation to the other boys from the Northern Cape to work hard knowing that anything is possible when one of their own is making use of the opportunity he is getting at a big club like Pirates," said Mothibi, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.

"I was introduced to all these boys who are from Northern Cape, and I have been talking to them and guiding them about the culture of the club and emphasizing to them about the importance of being respectful. Ethan Visagie, who is also at Pirates, is another one I talk to, as well as Raymond Daniels at Polokwane City. Another one is Angelo Van Rooi at Golden Arrows, Katlego Cwinyane at Orbit College FC and Amogelang Matebesi at Pirates. We must say thank you to Jomo Bonokwane from Kimberly Dalton Brothers FC where Mohau comes from and that's important. We must also say thank you to Mxolisi Mngomezulu and the development coaches at Pirates for the great work they are doing in developing these young players for the Bucs first team. We have to give credit where it is due," concluded Mothibi.
