Manchester United reportedly made a surprise request to cross-town rivals Manchester City ahead of the Ballon d'Or awards on Monday.
The annual Ballon d'Or awards ceremony takes place in Paris on Monday evening.
United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho are set to attend the ceremony after being nominated for the Kopa Trophy, which recognised the best U-21 player.

According to Daily Mail, United asked their City rivals if Mainoo and Garnacho could travel with their players on their private jet.
The request was rejected by the Citizens, who will have a total of eight nominees heading to the awards ceremony on Monday evening.
The report adds that the thought of sending two players on a private jet would not be a good look in the current climate.
Teams in the Premier League are no strangers to sharing private jets, with South American often pictured together returning to England after the international break.
City's Erling Haaland, Kevin de Bruyne and Rodri are among the nominees for the main Ballon d'Or award.
