The story
Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend, Siphiwe Tshabalala was in Cairo for The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) official draw of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Group Stages.
Shabba featured as one of four CAF Legends that were roped in as Draw Assistants for both competition alongside Guinea international midfielder, Naby Keita, former Egypt defender Ahmed Fathy and ex-DR Congo head coach, Florent Ibenge.
For the CAF Confed Cup draw that included Stellenbosch FC, Shabba wore a gold metallic tie with his smart black suit and matching formal shoes.
In explaining his wardrobe choice, the 40-year-old made it clear that he wanted to catch eyes with his golden accessory, "I decided to wear my gold tie and it's one of my favourite ties. I've got a silver one as well.
"So, I felt like brightening the room with this one and I think it looks good," said the self-assured baller, who rocked a similar look at his 40th birthday, opting for a grey hex tie instead of gold.
