The Green Eagles are looking for a new manager after firing Rusmir Cviko last week. The Moroccan champions had some unfavourable results in the early stages of the latest league campaign and decided to part ways with the Bosnian just two months after he initially took the job.
Abdelkrim Jinani has taken interim charge of the club, and has won back-to-back matches in the league, but the Casablanca-based institution is still looking for a permanent replacement.
According to Le Site Info Sport, former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly manager Mosimane was touted as a possible candidate to succeed Cviko but those talks never got off the ground due to the South African tactician's salary demands.
It is reported that the 60-year-old would want to bring his own technical staff with him, as well as a monthly salary of 80 million Moroccan dirhams (about R143 million). The north African giants are said to only be willing to pay 33 million Moroccan dirhams (R58 million)a month for the position.
With the Kagiso native deemed too expensive by club president Adel Hala, the reigning Botola Pro Inwi title holders have reportedly turned their attention to hiring Spanish tactician Pablo Machin, with the same report stating they are now in advanced negotiations with the former Elche boss.

Machin is perhaps most famous for helping Girona gain promotion to LALIGA for the first time in their history during the 2017/18 campaign, and he will be hoping to be just as successful should he be appointed as the next Raja boss.
