Sources close to the club have informed the Siya crew that Oarabile 'Guluva' Booysen is currently being monitored by management.
The 17-year-old, who was recently promoted to the DDC team, is understood to have impressed during the pre-season and may have convinced the technical team that he is ready for top-flight football.
"The club appears determined not to lose their own youngsters, and Oarabile seems to be one of them. It is believed that technical teams from both the DDC and the first team have agreed on his promotion to the senior team. He has been offered a two-year contract from July 2024 to June 2026. Although it might still be a developmental contract, he seems set for the first team," a source revealed to the Siya crew.

Another source suggested that after observing him in the DDC, there is a strong belief that he is ready for top-flight football and can perform at a higher level.
"In his first game this season, the opener of the DDC season, he assisted two goals. So far, he has played all three games for Sundowns DDC, and his talent appears to be growing with every game. The team seems keen to retain him, viewing him as a key part of their future. This is likely why they are considering promoting him to the first team," the source added.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Sundowns for comment, but there was no response at the time of publishing.
