With his experience, Maluleka's presence in the dressing room and on the field could play a positive role for Kruger, who are new to life in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
They've made a decent start to the season, with four points in their first three matches. They are in ninth place on the standings and will be hoping that they can build on their promising start with Maluleka playing a key role in the middle of the park.
Maluleka made 17 appearances in all competitions for Usuthu last season, featuring in the starting line-up only on two occasions.
