Saudi Arabian footballer Fahad Al-Muwallad was said to be rushed to hospital on Thursday last week after suffering a two-storey fall from his balcony.
The incident is believed to have occurred at his home in Dubai between the hours of 09:00 and 10:00 in the morning, and he was immediately taken to hospital after sustaining multiple fractures.
This is according to the Mirror, who cited Saudi reports claiming that the 30-year-old had been placed in intensive care.
His club, Al Shabab, confirmed that Al-Muwallad suffered a "health incident", but did not disclose the severity of the injuries he sustained.
The 67-time Saudi Arabia international started his career at Al Ittihad in his home country and returned to the club following a loan spell at Levante in Spain.
