Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler is on Bafana Bafana's radar post Hugo Broos' tenure at the South African national team, according to Siya sources.
While Broos remains in charge of South Africa, performing well in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and World Cup qualifiers, it seems that SAFA is planning for life after the 72-year-old Belgian's role as head coach, although it's not expected to be any time soon.

After leading Bafana to a credible third place finish during the last AFCON in Ivory Coast earlier this year, Broos was linked with an exit at that time, with reports then suggesting that he had been on the radar of several other teams, including the national teams of Tunisia and that of Algeria, among others.
However, SAFA had always been clear about their position with the tactician that there had been no plans to part ways with him, not even in the near future.
Broos led Bafana to four points out of a possible six during the recent FIFA international week after playing a 2-2 draw with Uganda at home and a 3-2 victory with South Sudan away.
SAFA seems to be proactive according to the information received by the Siya sources and Tinkler is believed to be on the radar.
However, the coach's boss at City, John Comitis has stated that he was unaware of any plans to rope in the 54-year-old in the national team.

"I have no idea of what you are talking about. It's the first time I hear about it. I am not aware of anything," said Comitis, speaking to the Siya crew.
