Chippa United have confirmed the signing of a Mamelodi Sundowns player on a permanent deal and the extension of goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali's contract.
The Chilli Boys, who have been busy in the market to bolster their squad, have secured the services of Malebogo Modise on a permanent deal from Tshwane giants Sundowns. He was on loan to the club from Sundowns last season but has now signed a three-year deal with the Eastern Cape outfit.

Modise made 17 appearances for the Chilli Boys last season, contributing with two assists.
Chippa, meanwhile, have extended the contract of Nigerian international goalkeeper Nwabili, who was at the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year. Nwabali, who has been linked with Soweto giants Orlando Pirates, has penned a three-year contract.
"We are pleased to announce that Stanley Nwabali has signed an improved three-year contract with Chippa United FC. We are incredibly proud of Stanley's dedication and commitment to the club. His leadership on and off the field has been exemplary, and we believe he is the right person to guide our team through the challenges ahead. With this being said, Stanley will be our new team captain for the upcoming season," Chippa said in a statement on X.

"We wish Stanley continued success in his career, both in domestic competitions and on the international stage. We look forward to achieving great things together in the seasons to come."
The new deal for Nwabali is a big one for Chippa, considering the player had attracted overseas interest. The deal gives the club an option of selling him for a big fee if the right deal comes their way.
