Namibian defender Kennedy Amutenya's representatives have been tasked with getting the player a club in Mzansi and Kaizer Chiefs are one of the teams targeted, the Siya crew understands.
In recent weeks, Chiefs have been linked with several players after the club confirmed that it was still in the market for more signings for the new season.

With the Soweto giants expected to welcome Angolan defender Inacio Miguel as their latest recruit pending the finalisation of his signing, the club could be offered yet another foreign defender in Amutenya who is also a centre-back.
So far in this transfer window, Amakhosi have officially announced signing defenders Rushwin Dortley and Bongani Sam, goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, as well as former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Gaston Sirino.
"The update I have for you is that Kennedy Amutenya is keen on a move to the PSL for the next chapter of his career. He is a defender who played for Gaborone United, which is one of the leading clubs in Botswana. He is currently a free agent," said the source.

"It has always been his wish to play in South Africa and his handlers have been tasked with finding opportunities for him. Chiefs are one of the clubs targeted to place the player even if on trial if all goes well as his handlers believe that he could fit in the team under coach (Nasreddine) Nabi.
